Samar Issa
As both a Lebanese and U.S. citizen, Samar was sensitized at an As both a Lebanese and U.S. citizen, Samar was sensitized at an early age to issues of immigration, race, ethnicity, faith, and gender. She became an ardent human rights and women’s rights advocate at the early age of fourteen. She continues this work today in schools and the United Nations to combat anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and racism. Her varied experiences living and working in a multitude of countries provide her with unique skills in helping leaders leverage differences, welcome innovation, and lead skillfully in the global arena.
She is fluent in English, Arabic, French, and conversational Spanish. Samar has worked for U.S. corporations, at the United Nations, and overseas in Lebanon, Senegal, Dubai, Morocco, and Egypt.
Her experience includes teaching at the University level, project management, human resource management, and training.. In addition to her work with Next Level Leadership, she is currently an adjunct professor at The New School.
